Takagi Tankless Hot Water Heaters |
The Takagi Tankless Hot Water Heaters are compact, energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The heaters have large enough capacity to generate hot water as need. Wall mounted inside or out, the Takagi's produce endless hot water long after conventional units have run cold. Endless Hot Water - With no tank to fill there is no end to your supply of hot water. Takagi Tankless water heaters deliver between 200 gallons and 500 gallons of hot water every hour on demand. Money & Energy Savings - Since a tankless water heater has neither a storage tank to keep heated all day, nor a pilot light, it burns gas only when you need hot water. This eliminates standby heat loss, which can be as high as 3-4% every hour for storage tank type water heaters. This higher efficiency can allow you to save up to 50% off your utility costs. Space saving & easy installation - A standard Takagi water heater is about the size of a suitcase. This allows for installation in spaces with limited area or even outdoors with no enclosures. |

High Quality - The Takagi Tankless Water Heater is made using the best quality material for durability and long life, unlike storage tanks which are designed to eventually rust and be thrown away. The Takagi tankless system uses all copper and brass water ways, stainless steel burners, a rust resistant baked polyurethane finish, and even has pipe freezing protection. Environmentally Friendly -The Takagi Tankless Water Heater is the only product of its kind to receive SCAQMD (Southern California Air Quality Management District) approval for it's low emissions (CO, Nox) With high thermal efficiency, Takagi systems use much less fuel than traditional systems. | Takagi T-K Jr. Tankless Hot Water Heater | |
The T-K Jr. is the smallest unit in the Takagi line-up and offers direct vent capability and power. The T-KJr. is perfect for light residential (i.e. small apartment units) and radiant heating applications. With gas inputs up to 140,000 BTU per hour the K-K Jr. can meet all the hot-water needs of a small American home or apartment with one or two bathrooms, as well as smaller commercial applications. Designed to virtually do anything a 40-gallon tank-type water heater can do and more, the compact, wall mounted T-K Jr. can support hydronic baseboard or radiant floor heating applications, as well as provide domestic hot water to plumbing fixtures and appliances. The T-K Jr. has an efficiency rating of 83%, using natural gas, and 84% with propane. Cost-efficient and environmentally friendly, the T-K Jr. can be converted into a direct-vent unit by using the optional TV09 conversion kit for installation in a garage, a utility closet or any confined space in which makeup air may be limited. Using an average of 60°F input water, the T-K Jr. can provide enough hot water for one shower and a lavatory basin at a time; or one low-flow shower (2.5 GPM or less) and an appliance, such as a dishwasher or washing machine, at the same time. For much colder input temperatures, such as 40°F or lower, this unit can provide endless hot water for consecutive uses; that is, running only one major fixture at a time. |

| Takagi T-K3 Tankless Hot Water Heater | |
The T-K3 is Takagi's most versatile and powerful unit that allows you to connect up to four units without the use of an additional controller unit. The T-K3 can also be converted to a direct vent model. Its larger flow capacity through parallel connections will meet the hot-water needs of most high-volume residential applications and many commercial projects, too. Compact Size: Only 13.8 inches wide, the T-K3 can be recessed between wall studs for even more space savings! A special recess box is available for outdoor installations. Lower Activating Flow Rate: The T-K3 activates at only 0.5 GPM, which allows the use of smaller water flows in bathroom sinks and showers. This reduces water waste and allows for stable temperatures. Parallel Installation: Using Takagi's Easy Link technology, the T-K3 can be installed in parallel with up to three other units without the use of an additional control box, generating more flow while saving money, space and installation time. Four T-K3 unites will deliver a total of 21.6 GPM at 60°F. Direct-Vent Conversion: The T-K3 can be easily converted into a direct vent model for inside installations that need to import combustion air from outside. Eight Temperature Settings: Instead of the usual four settings, the T-K3 offers eight separate temperatures, set by dip-switch: 104°F, 113°F, 122°F, 131°F, 140°F, 158°F, 176°F, and 185°F. This versatility reduces the need for a separate remote control. Longer vent runs: The T-K3 can have a vent pipe run up to 50 feet with five elbows, instead of the normal 35 with three elbows. |

| Takagi T-H1 Tankless Hot Water Heaters | |
The T-H1 is designed for commercial and heavy residential use and is the most efficient (up to 95% in thermal efficiency) Tankless Water Heater on the market today. It offers direct vent capability, has a condensing unit and is very efficient! The T-H1, Takagi's greenest model, is a condensing unit with an average efficiency of 92% with natural gas and 95% with propane. Where the winter ground water is 60ºF and with the output set at 120ºF - the unit will provide 6.1 GPM. In colder areas where the input temperature may be 40ºF or less, you can expect a flow rate of about 4.3 GPM. The T-H1 can provide at least three showers' worth of water simultaneously along with one appliance at input temperature of 60ºF or greater. The T-H1 is also the industry's most efficient. This state-of-the-art tankless water heater uses not one, but two heat exchangers to squeeze additional energy from the water, resulting in the higher-than-average efficiencies stated above. Takagi has added a stainless steel secondary heat exchanger to recover waste heat from the vent stack before it leaves the unit to preheat the incoming ground water. This second heat exchanger and the resulting condensation that forms from the high efficiency operation, classify it as a "Condensing" Water Heater. The condensate that these types of heaters produce can be slightly acidic, so it's collected and sent through a built-in neutralizer, allowing for disposal into standard drainpipe. With a variable gas input up to 199,000 BTU per hour and its high efficiency, the T-H1 can deliver more than 10 gallons of hot water per minute under ideal conditions. As a result, the unit will meet the needs of most large homes, as well as single heater-usage commercial and industrial applications. |

| Takagi Mobius T-M1 Tankless Hot Water Heater | |
The T-M1 can meet heavy-duty commercial or large residential demands with manifolding capabilities of up to 20 units and generates up to 192 gallons of hot water per minute. The T-M1 offers the highest BTU's available of all Takagi units. At 235,000 BTU per hour, the Mobius T-M1 is Takagi's largest model, with an average efficiency of 82% with natural gas and 85% with propane. Where the winter ground water is 60ºF and with the output set at 122ºF - the unit will provide a 6.4 GPM. In colder areas where the input temperature may be 40ºF or less, expect a flow rate about 4.5 GPM. The T-M1 can provide at least three showers' worth of water simultaneously along with one appliance at input temperatures of 60ºF or greater. The venting system for this unit is not convertible to direct vent and requires that makeup air be provided. Mobius T-M1 units can be combined to offer a fully modulating, boiler-type system. Up to 20 units may be installed in parallel. All heaters up to 20 units will fully modulate, from as low as .75 GPM, or 25,000 BTU per hour; to as high as 128 GPM, or 4.7 million BTU per hour at 60ºF. In terms of boiler language, each modulate has a turndown ratio of 9.4:1. As a result, combining 20 units equates to a 188:1 turndown ratio - a tremendous savings compared with an average boiler. This very powerful system is ideal for sports clubs, hotels, apartment buildings, hospitals, etc. where hot-water volumes are high and flows are variable. The Mobius T-M1 is built to last in even the most rugged on environments, whether installed inside or outdoors. Like all of Takagi's heaters, the unit features all copper and brass waterways, stainless steel burners and epoxy-powder coatings to resist rust and corrosion. Yet the high compact Mobius weighs in at a trim 70 pounds and occupies only a little more than two cubic feet of space. |

| Takagi Mobius T-M199 Tankless Hot Water Heater | |
The T-M199 is very similar to the T-M1 and offers the same amount of thermal efficiency but yields a lower amount of BTU's. The T-M199 offers manifolding capabilities and works well for both commercial and residential applications. The T-M199 fills a niche between the T-K3 and its big brother the T-M1. Parallel Installation: Like the T-M1, the T-M199 can be installed in parallel with up to 20 units per controller, for a total of 108 GPM at 60ºF ?T, or 130 GPM at a 50ºF ?T. This large flow capacity through parallel connections will meet the hot water needs of all high-volume residential and commercial applications. Direct-Vent Conversion: The T-M199 can be converted to a direct vent model for inside installation that needs to import combustion air from the outside. Four Temperature Settings: The T-M199 offers four separate temperatures, set by dipswitch: 113ºF , 122ºF, 140ºF, and 182ºF. Setting temperatures other than these four presets requires the TM-RE10 temperature controller. At 199,000 BTU/h, the T-M199 offers outputs similar to the T-K3, but its maximum flow rate is higher at the lower ?T range. At a ?T of 60ºF in warmer areas - for example, where the winter ground water is 60ºF and with the output set at 122ºF - the unit will provide a 5.4 GPM, or 324 GPH. In colder areas where the input temperature may be 40ºF or less, expect a flow rate about 4.1 GPM, or 246 GPH. |
