Wilf Scheuer, President & Owner
Victoria Branch

Wilf began his plumbing apprenticeship in 1968 and had 20 years of experience with major plumbing, HVAC, and engineering companies in Manitoba before moving to Victoria, BC to open Pro Star. Wilf began as an installer, moving on to project manager, designer estimator and licensed mechanical contractor. Wilf has a wide range of experience including: hydro dams, office towers, shopping centers, hospitals, military and residential projects.

Wilf also works as a consultant for NASA at Kennedy Space Center. Beginning in 1999 Wilf designed and built high purity water filtration prototype systems for use in harsh zero gravity environments required for the NASA space programs - including the upcoming manned Moon and Mars missions.

Wilf was honoured in 2008 by the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC with a Lifetime Achievement Award for individuals who have provided exemplary service to the association and the HVAC industry.

Wilf is also co-owner and vice-president of Tiger Purification Systems.

Mike Nesbit, Project Manager
Comox Valley Branch

Mike joined the Pro Star team in the Comox Valley in 1995. He specializes in geothermal heat pump design, installation and maintenance. He is an accredited geothermal installer with the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition.

Mike's projects include: hospitals, airports, colleges, winery, seniors facilities, apartment buildings, custom executive homes, townhouse complexes and many more.

Mike wealth of knowledge includes: boiler installation and maintenance, direct digital control systems, medical gas piping installation and testing and much more.

Mike's friendly manner and experience make him a valuable Pro Star team leader. His project management skills ensure every installation is complete to the highest of standards.

Mikhail Pronick , Project & Branch Manger
Comox Valley Branch

Mikhail began his career with Pro Star in 2004 in Victoria where he completed his Red Seal plumbing and Class B gas fitter training.

In 2007 Mikhail moved to the Comox Valley and helped open Pro Star's new Courtenay showroom. His friendly manner and knowledge of HVAC systems makes him a valuable addition to the Pro Star team.

Mikhail specializes in designing residential heat pump and tankless hot water systems. His particular interest lies in ductless split and air to air heat pumps.

Mikhail manages our Home Depot's Installation Provider Program for heat pumps and furnaces in the Comox Valley. The Courtenay branch of Pro Star is The Home Depot's chosen HVAC installer.

Sharon recently joined the Pro Star team as a system designer with a mechanical engineering background. She is fully qualified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) as an Accredited Professional. Sharon is TECA certified for design of forced air heating systems, and specializes in heat loss analysis for buildings.

Kyle Morrison, Project Manager

Kyle joined Pro Star in 2008 as an estimator and project manager. Kyle expertise lies in designing geothermal heat pump systems and providing heat loss evaluations and take off's for residential and commercial projects.
